"Here is a horse that achieved something that had never been accomplished before and, most likely, never will be again. She won nineteen consecutive races without ever suffering a loss. Granted, she ran only in New Mexico, not the best competition in the country; however, many racing aficionados will tell you that, in order to achieve such a record, a horse has to be very lucky, as well as good.

I think that the racing world did little to promote her accomplishment, and to me, that is a shame. Just to be able to show up healthy and sound nineteen straight times is astonishing in itself."
